FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should you wear?
How long are the workshops?
What do you need to bring?
Who are my workshops for?

Everyone is welcome! My workshops are for people of all ages and skill levels. You can come on your own, bring a friend or bring the family - so come and 'get on the tools' with me!

Do you need to have any skills before you come to a workshop?

No - it's fine if you are a complete beginner, or if you  have an existing skill level you want to develop further - just let me know when you book in.

Where are the workshops held?

I've built a very special shed for my workshops at Finniss, which is an easy (and very beautiful) hour's drive from Adelaide.  Tea and lunch breaks come complete with a panoramic view of the Finniss River and, if we're lucky, a visit from a cheeky wren or two.

Please make sure you wear safety boots or sturdy closed-toe shoes, avoid loose clothing and leave your jewellery at home.

Please bring Australian safety standard  compliant eye and hearing protection. glasses and hearing protection. I am happy to advise you on this if you need help.

Most workshops run from 9.30am to 4.30pm - but come 15 minutes earlier if you need a coffee before we start. We will stop for lunch at a time that suits what we're doing.

I can also offer individual or group workshops catering to your specific requirements - these can range from half day to workshops over several days. Email me for more information on tailoring workshops to suit your project or group.

Bring something for your lunch (there's a microwave and fridge in the workshop) and I'll have tea and coffee available throughout the day.

What does it cost?

Costs vary according to the workshop but generally you can do a full day workshop for under $200. Please check the booking page for details or contact me if you want pricing for a tailored workshop.

What happens next?

Once your booking is confirmed and I've received your payment, I will email you with full details, and then I'll see you at the workshop!
